Let’s talk colors, material, decoration and inspiration for the upcoming Fall/Winter 2011/2012 season!
There is good news for all shoe lovers! The shoe trends will be diverse giving everyone the opportunity to pick something they love to wear without going out of fashion.
Let’s talk material first; natural leather will as always be in. You can count on reptile shades and styles too, especially the mysterious snake skin. Patent leather looks fabulous and will be available in a variety of shades. You can also start looking for something that will go with cozy, luxurious suede. Elegant satin and laces will make your feet look totally stylish for any special occasion.
Now let’s to go colors! The trendiest tones for the upcoming season are black, chocolate, dark blue, deep violet, burgundy, red, metallic, khaki, stone, beige and last but not least the color white. You can be bold with colors by mixing and matching. Color blocking of burgundy and blue, black and white, red and black will be very popular! Don’t they look great just imagining the combinations?
Well, what about the outsole and heels? Also a large variety will be popular. Do you like platforms, and modest wedges? You will be free to wear them and look very fashionable. Chunky heels are definitely in not only for style but also their clever combo of comfort and support. If you would rather go for the spike heels instead of the chunky ones you will be able to pull them off without a problem! They too will make your Fall/Winter 2011/2012 outfit look feminine and chic. You will find thin long stiletto heels on both, shoes and boots.
What about decoration? There will be plenty of lacing, laced-up boots. Lacing looks great, is very comfy and keeps shoes firmly on your feet. Taking it off might be a little work out, but well worth the effort! Buckles, buckles, buckles again! They too provide great support, grip and look so interesting!
To keep your feet warm and great looking you can add glam to your shoes by wearing your favorite socks in them! Never tried? Well, now is the right time to pull it off! For those not bold enough to wear socks in shoes can opt for warm tights instead. Tights will look elegant and will keep you warm.
